This last year, we were able to sponsor over 400 children to attend school for the 2017-2018 school year. Many children attending school for the very first time, and some staying in school when their plan was originally to drop out and work.
This was because of you.
This year, our goal is to sponsor an additional 600 children. Increasing the enrollment of those in school yet again. In a community of 7,000, close to 5,000 of them being children, our goal is to see the numbers rise to over 2,400 this 2018-2019 school year. Ultimately working with the government to see all 5,000 children enrolled in the years to come.
So where do you come in?
One of the requirements of enrollment apart from tuition is that they have a uniform, backpack and school supplies.
So the question is, would you sponsor a backpack?
Each backpack filled costs $25 and will include:
-Backpack
-Uniform
-Re-usable water bottle
-Pencils
-Pencil sharpener
-Paper/notebooks
-Scissors
-Crayons
-Glue
