We woke up this morning to see that all of the meals for our Christmas celebration have been sponsored! What an incredible start to the week! Thanks to YOUR generosity, 150 families in our community of San Pedro will get to enjoy a special holiday meal and take part in a special Christmas celebration all together at our community center, Casa MARKED!
¡Nos despertamos esta mañana y vimos que todas las comidas para nuestra celebración navideña habían sido patrocinadas! ¡Qué increíble comienzo de semana! Gracias a SU generosidad, 150 familias de nuestra comunidad de San Pedro podrán disfrutar de una comida especial y participar en una celebración navideña todos juntos en nuestro centro comunitario, Casa MARKED.
We are truly blown away by this outpouring of love from all of you, from across the world, to reach families here in Mexico. Going into the weekend, only 28 of the 150 families on our list had been sponsored but in just TWO days, you helped us reach our goal. We are just so thankful!
Estamos realmente impresionados por esta muestra de amor de todos ustedes, en diferentes partes del mundo, hacia las familias aquí en México. Al comenzar el fin de semana, solo 28 de las 150 familias de nuestra lista habían sido apadrinadas, pero en solo DOS días, nos ayudaron a alcanzar nuestra meta. ¡Estamos muy agradecidos!
It is an honor to be able to serve not just children but also their parents and other family members this Christmas. We are beyond excited for this big event which we have already invited 300 people to and the opportunity it gives us to bring hope, love, a delicious meal and gifts to them all.
Es un honor poder servir no sólo a los niños sino también a sus padres y otros miembros de las familias esta Navidad. Estamos más que emocionados por este gran evento al que ya hemos invitado a 300 personas y la oportunidad que nos brinda de llevarles esperanza, amor, una comida deliciosa y regalos a todos.
You see, inviting people to our table is a great passion of ours and we view being able to host this special holiday dinner as a massive privilege. Without this celebration, in most cases, families would not have the means to share a nice holiday meal together and children would not experience the fun of gifts and treats nor would we get to share the true significance of Christmas with them.
Invitar gente a nuestra mesa es algo que nos apasiona y consideramos que el poder organizar esta cena navideña especial es un gran privilegio. Sin esta celebración, en la mayoría de los casos, las familias no tendrían los medios para compartir juntos una cena navideña y los niños no experimentarían la diversión de los regalos o bolos, ni podríamos compartir el verdadero significado de la Navidad con ellos.
