We are officially two weeks out from the grand opening of Kinder MARKED, a public kindergarten that we will be opening on our property at Casa MARKED in the village of San Pedro. It is a dream come true for us to have this opportunity! In order to get ready for students, staff has been busy transforming what was once a storage room into a classroom!
Estamos oficialmente a dos semanas de la gran inauguración de Kinder MARKED, un jardín de infantes público que abriremos en nuestra propiedad en Casa MARKED en el pueblo de San Pedro. ¡Es un sueño hecho realidad para nosotros tener esta oportunidad! ¡Con el fin de prepararse para los estudiantes, el personal ha estado ocupado transformando lo que alguna vez fue una sala de almacenamiento en un salón de clases!
This means the team has been hard at work reorganizing storage, deep cleaning every inch of the space and giving the walls a fresh coat of paint. Now, we have a classroom and it´s time to fill it with supplies like pencils, crayons, glue, and books which is something we would love to get some help with! Just over the weekend, we received donations to purchase the tables, chairs and even a large whiteboard. Each day we are getting closer to clearing our wish list but we need your help!
Esto significa que el equipo ha estado trabajando arduamente reorganizando el almacenamiento, limpiando a fondo cada centímetro del espacio y dando a las paredes una nueva capa de pintura. Ahora, tenemos un salón de clases y es hora de llenarlo con útiles como lápices, crayones, pegamento y libros, ¡algo en lo que nos encantaría recibir ayuda! Durante el fin de semana, recibimos donaciones para comprar mesas, sillas e incluso una pizarra blanca grande. Cada día estamos más cerca de vaciar nuestra lista de deseos, ¡pero necesitamos tu ayuda!
